Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is a research university with an ambition to cultivate an academic environment and become a benchmark for the Egyptian and African countries in education. It was first established as a bilateral agreement project between the Egyptian and Japanese governments in May 2009 and later in 2010 it was ready to accept its first batch of students and make the dream a reality.
EKB in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education offers many sources of educational and research information materials in Arabic and English from the largest publishing houses in the world, which is suitable for all age groups. The available sources vary from stories and audio-visual products for children stories to highly technical material, scientific journals and specialized books for researchers in various sciences and subjects.
EKB is an initiative that has been launched by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi During the National Science Day of 2014. And through it, the specialized councils of the presidency started to launch several national projects concerned with educational development.
